Re-posting from our twin-site: “Non-opposites,” a short sketch on unity

Cloud Gypsies

THAT DUSTY HOT Friday morning started with a usual greeting. S. and I have met by the traffic signal at the beginning of a street that would lead deep into a green area of Zaabeel. For both of us ‘how are you?’ is not a native question and neither it is a natural thing to ask and respond with the same question. “Worse than Pichai, but better than that guy in Congo,” my friend said. Off we ran chatting about it. Indeed, why does one always have to compare himself or herself with others? What is our original face?

What impressed me in 2015

This post has nothing to do with lighting per se. These are just few things that have produced a big impact on me during the last twelve months.

– Novel The Garden of Forking Paths by Jorge Luis Borges

– Song Ya Balad by Bachar Mar-Khalife

– Movie Bajirao Mastani directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali

– Sensation of coming back to my hometown

– Free flight of an aerial flip in aikido

Happy New 2016!
